David Jacobs-Strain
David Jacobs-Strain is a fierce slide guitar player, and a song poet from Oregon. He is known for both his virtuosity and spirit of emotional abandon. David displays a range that ties him to his own generation and to guitar-slinger troubadours like Robert Johnson and Jackson Browne. "I try to make art that you can dance to, but I love that darker place, where in my mind, Skip James, Nick Drake, and maybe Elliot Smith blur together."

This concert marks Ethical Brew's first foray into the online streaming arena. It is our desire to continue to bring you the remarkable performances you have come to expect from us, while supporting the talented musicians whose touring careers have been sidelined by COVID-19.
This concert will not be your usual cell phone quality stream, but will be presented with top-quality sound in a high-resolution, two camera format. Please note that this concert will be offered as a "pay-what-you-wish" event. While the suggested donation is $15 per view, we recognize that these are difficult times and both we and our artist, do not wish to exclude anyone based on ability to pay. Therefore, please be as generous as you can, and keep in mind that your ability to donate more can help offset those who cannot.
Please note that Ethical Brew will be hosting this event in conjunction with Baker Booking, but all proceeds will go to our performer, David Jacobs-Strain. In keeping with Ethical Brew's founding ideals, David has generously offered to donate 20% to the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund which raises funds, organizes and coordinates resources to fight the medical, social and economic impact of COVID-19 on New Jersey's most vulnerable.
